“Stirlitz”

They judge what is in front of them by one standard: does it work well? They fix what does not, whether anyone asked them to or not.

Pairings

Here is how The Administrator meets every other type: each type has exactly one relation with it, ordered from the closest quadra to the furthest, with a short description under each relation's name. Open a relation's name to read it in full, or a type to open its profile.

Same-quadra relations

Both of the partner's ego functions are among the values I hold. The partner is from the same quadra.

  • Duality

The closest relation possible: each side covers exactly what the other cannot, without conscious effort.

  • Activation

Mutual energy that ignites fast, and exhausts if it runs too long without a break.

  • Mirror

The same values in reverse order: high intellectual understanding and a quiet rivalry over method.

Symmetric adjacent-quadra relations

One of the partner's functions is among my values and the other is not. The partner is from a quadra that shares half my values, and the relationship is lived the same way from both sides.

Asymmetric (ring) relations

The same mix of a valued and an unvalued function, and the partner is also from an adjacent quadra. The difference is that the relationship has a direction, so each side experiences it differently, and it runs in rings of four types.

Opposite-quadra relations

Both of the partner's ego functions lie outside my values. The partner is from the opposite quadra (Alpha with Gamma, Beta with Delta).

  • Conflict

One side's strongest point strikes the other's most painful. The hardest encounter on the map.

  • Super-ego

Admiration from afar and confusion up close; each side unknowingly presses the other's weakest point.

  • Quasi-identity

The same vocabulary with different meanings: a discussion that never stops and never arrives.

  • Extinguishment

Talk starts easily and ends with a vague feeling that nobody was understood.
